Over 25 years, Amanda has worked in a number of private and public sectors developing expertise in resolving disputes related to employment, project management, IT, intellectual property, commercial contracts, stress and long term sickness, whistle blowing. Industry sectors include transport (rail and air), manufacturing, construction, metals trading, NHS, Police and Fire Service. She has significant experience of working in regulated industries.
Amanda regularly trains and coaches new mediators and designs and delivers training programes in dispute resolution processes, leadership and risk management. She is a frequent conference speaker and published writer on her research and development work, the most recent being on the subject of strengths and competence.
The results raise important and challenging questions about competence. More importantly, it challenges our assumptions about how we regulate professional people.
